Where your pleasurable vacation and comfort is of the upmost importance.

Right In Soldotna!

Behind the Cornerstone Market Place at the Soldotna "Y" (Intersection of Kenai Spur and Sterling Hwys)  is the new, secluded, Vermont-style (brick-red with white shutters) Gulls Landing Bed and Breakfast  with a roundabout driveway surrounded by lawns and edged by trees and river.  The river curls around three viewing decks with tables and chairs.

It's a 3 minute drive from Fred Meyers' huge store

Fishing/Boating dock overlooking the Kenai River:
Beyond the back deck (with barbecue/table & chairs) which overlooks the lawn and river, is another viewing platform midway down a 16 ft. bank. There you'll find another picnic table & chairs, which leads to another set of stairs down to the dock, complete with fish cleaning table. Swiftwater Park (next door but secluded behind trees) has a boat ramp. There is plenty of parking for boat trailers.

The river is so close, it is wonderful to watch the fishing boats, the wildlife along the river banks and to hear the constant ripple of a fast moving river while you soak up the sunshine on the deck. There are some fishing guides who can pick you up right at the dock. Fishing, hiking, sightseeing, backpacking, bird watching are only some of the activities that can be arranged for you, upon request.
